The Standard rooms are furnished very nicely and while smaller than the superior room type is still a good medium size room. They have charcoal drapes and bedspreads and dark wood features. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Plasma TV screens on the wall facing the bed, comfortable seating and floor to ceiling windows in many rooms overlooking the harbour. A new restaurant with great views over the harbour is open for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. A brand new facade on the building in concrete and glass. The building is against the edge of a hillside. A brand new lobby area on the ground floor entrance off Oriental Parade. This has a comfortable seating area with the reception desk to one side. A fantastic location and the refurbishment now completed has totally transformed this hotel. Central location, great views from many of the rooms and brand new interiors.
